The Legend

Like many great dining and imbibing outposts, ours begins with a bit of lore. Fifty years ago, The Gant was built as a quiet retreat for those looking to enjoy the serenity of the Rocky Mountains. A wily little fox who lived nearby would sneak over to The Gant at dawn or dusk in search of scraps. Over time, the resort staff embraced this little fox as another member of The Gant family, and he was affectionately named Pepperjack. Today, he lives on as the inspiration and namesake of Pepperjack’s.
