10 Inches of Fresh Powder in Aspen/Snowmass!

10 inches of fresh snow blanketed Aspen on Wednesday! Join us for some amazing powder skiing! Thanks to Jeremy Swanson for the pictures.

This storm will allow for more terrain to open on all four mountains including the following areas.

SNOWMASS:  Sheer Bliss, both the run and the lift, open for the season.  Additionally off this lift, the ropes will drop on Glissade, the first run open into Garrett's Gulch.  Lower Green Cabin and Funnel Bypass also open.

ASPEN MOUNTAIN: All of the east side runs on Bell Mountain are open: Seibert's, Knowlton's, Back of Bell 1 & 2 and Keith Glen.  As the day progresses we'll get runs on the west side of Bell:Sunrise, Sunset, Hanging Tree and the Face of Bell.  The Glades will open to Jackpot, and very likely Jackpot will open as well.  Some of the Dumps will open by the end of the day: Bear Paw, Short Snort, Zaugg, Perry's Prowl and Last Dollar.  Also look for runs on the lower mountain to enter the mix with Magnifico, Lazy 8 and Normandy to the Shadow Mountain Lift.

ASPEN HIGHLANDS: This new snow gets us Boomerang, Mushroom and Hyde Park, and Sodbuster. On the west side look for Deception to open.

BUTTERMILK: Ptarmigan Glade, upper Sterner, and Buckskin open to Sterner Catwalk.  On West Buttermilk, trails crew has worked a path to the bottom of West Buttermilk Express on Camp Bird.
