Family Time - Gant is our favorite CO get-away
We chose The Gant for our first stay in June 2007 as a gift for our parent's 40th Wedding Anniversary. I had searched every condo/hotel website possible in the area, as Aspen is their favorite place to vacation. (They are Colorado natives.) We were impressed to find a location that had everything we were looking for (we traveled as a group of eight with ages ranging from 2 ½ years to 84 years old.) We enjoyed using the wonderful amenities including the tennis courts, the grill near the pool to avoid eating every lunch/dinner out, the pool, hot tub and outdoor patio with fireplaces. We enjoyed an anniversary picnic lunch at a nearby park and were grateful for the complimentary shuttle to get us there and back with our many bags. The following year, in July 2008 our same group returned to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and again we experienced a wonderful vacation. We anticipate this might be the beginning of a yearly tradition with our loved ones. Those in our family have rather demanding jobs and we appreciate being able to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings that the grounds of The Gant offers without even leaving the property. Walking distance to town is easy for shopping – even nearby City Market to get our BBQ and dinner items. There are also great walking paths leading from the grounds of The Gant that my sister-in-law and I always enjoy.
