High Tech Lift Tickets are on their Way to Aspen

Aspen is going high tech - The Aspen Skiing Company's recently announced that they will do away with paper lift tickets and use new high-tech lift tickets resembling credit cards beginning next season. The cards can be read by radio-frequency scanners at all four Aspen ski areas and will be reusable and reloadable. Since the ticket is read by a scanner, skiers can keep it in a pocket and don't have to attach it outside their clothing.
